Story of my life: I should have done more research. The truth is, I get overwhelmed when there are a million choices, so I just pick one that appears to meet my needs and just go with it. It’s easier to figure out what I need when I get to using something, and boy, this was evident in the first week.
Who signs up to blog with a host that doesn’t have a blogging platform?
Me. But in classic C. Erica Burton Original style, I made it work (until I could move it!).
Speaking of a million choices, I love shopping at Aldi. There are only one or two choices, so you’re in and out in twenty minutes. Have you been?

I registered the domain with GoDaddy and then discovered that they don’t really support the blog format I want. But I have to wait 60 days from the birth of the blog to move the domain to Bluehost, which has a much easier blog-supported format (WordPress) for the non-technically inclined. In the meantime, you can still keep up with the Burtons. The blog must go on.
My blog will be located at http://owningburtonfarm.weebly.com/ until July 1, 2016. *UPDATE* http://owningburtonfarm.com/ is back in effect! I’m updating and moving posts & files this holiday weekend.
